Malcolm Maycock, Association Chairman, Association for Driving Licence Verification
As newly appointed chairman of the ADLV, Malcolm will offer an update on the new process for checking driver licences electronically, which comes into effect in 2015. As well as covering how the new process works, he will also reiterate the importance of licence checking and offer assurances that the new system will be robust enough to cope.

Offering a glimpse into the processes around fatal at-work accident investigations, Sergeant Joyce will share his first-hand experiences, look at what happens when things go wrong on the road, explain how organisations should prepare if they face an investigation and offer advice on how to prevent crashes from happening in the first place.

Having worked within the fleet sector for over 26 years, Geoff will present a case study on what both he and his fleet department went through during a fatal incident involving one of his own drivers. As well as the process at the time, he will also share details on the outcome of the investigation and the wider implications it had for his business.
